About Sue

In 1994 Sue moved to Byron Shire and started a Diploma of Homoeopathy at the Northern Rivers Homoeopathic College, which she completed in 1997. From this time she has worked as a homoeopath.

Since completing her training in 1997 Sue has studied with the world’s best homoeopaths at international seminars and extended master classes on a yearly basis.

In particular she believes that the work of the Bombay Group headed by
Dr Rajan Sankaran has revolutionised the ability of homoeopaths to understand what is to be treated in a patient and how to find the simillimum (perfect match). Dr Sankaran’s technique is known as the sensation method of case taking.

Sue has a deep knowledge of the most effective case taking techniques.
This greatly enhances the accuracy of her prescriptions.

Background

From a childhood where homoeopathic remedies and nutritional supplements were the preferred method of treatment for common ailments Sue embarked on a career in mainstream science at the University of Sydney.

Following her graduation in 1982 with a Science degree with honours and a PhD in Genetics she joined the pharmaceutical industry working at various times in clinical research, the medical department and marketing. It was while working in the field of nutritional supplements that her interest in homoeopathy was rekindled.

Move to the Northern Rivers and a Rural Lifestyle

After moving to Byron Shire in 1994 Sue fulfilled a life-long passion to own a farm. In sympathy with the native flora of the sub-tropical rainforest, Sue established a native bushfood orchard and regenerated 9 acres of rainforest on her property.

Her interest in local food led her into a pivotal role in the establishment of the four farmers markets in Byron Shire.

Recently Sue moved to Lennox Head and has re-established her Homoeopathic Clinic at her new home.
